What You'll Do:

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our business development team as an early member and help expand our partnership ecosystem. This role will play a critical part in scaling our Enterprise efforts by establishing and nurturing key relationships with shipyards, naval architecture firms, and design offices. Additionally, we aim to build strategic partnerships with other digital solution providers to offer comprehensive solutions to our clients.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can operate at both a strategic and tactical level to lead and develop this crucial area of our business. You will be responsible for executing and managing partnerships across various domains, including go-to-market strategies, technology collaborations, and other strategic initiatives. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams such as product, engineering, finance, legal, marketing, and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define, negotiate, and close high-impact partnerships for our flagship product, NeuralShipper™.

• Manage relationships with partners, identify new opportunities, and drive partnership success.

• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to define priorities and identify key opportunities.

• Lead external and internal cross-functional teams to integrate products or technologies with external partners.

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the maritime industry, with a focus on AI-driven advancements.

• Work cross-functionally with legal, marketing, finance, product, and engineering teams to negotiate deal terms, drive strategic projects, and advocate internally for partners.

• Provide regular reports and updates on partnership activities and performance to internal stakeholders.

  
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of work experience in business development, strategy, or related fields.

• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams to execute deals, including interpreting legal documents and collaborating with attorneys to finalise agreements.

• Strong experience working closely with product and engineering teams to drive strategic initiatives.

• Ability to develop and execute business strategies in collaboration with stakeholders.

• Demonstrated experience in establishing and managing relationships inside and outside the organisation.

• Basic understanding of the AI ecosystem, including key technologies, major and emerging players in the maritime industry, industry alliances, and relevant government and regulatory frameworks.
